Research Associate

We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to join our team in the School of Health & Wellbeing and play a key role in an innovative programme of research with the potential to improve the lives of people living with multiple long-term conditions.

You will play a leading role in the process evaluation of a large multi-site trial led by Professor Sharon Simpson. PERFORM is evaluating an exercise rehabilitation programme designed specifically for people living with multimorbidity, addressing an important challenge in supporting people to stay active and improve their health while managing multiple conditions.

The role will also provide excellent opportunities to contribute to the wider research programme, including developing research publications, presenting findings and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. You will also have the opportunity to develop your expertise in understanding how interventions are implemented, experienced and delivered in real-world settings.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their expertise in process evaluation, implementation science, mixed methods and applied health research, while contributing to research with clear relevance to policy and practice.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and has funding available for up to 12 months. We will also consider part-time working arrangements for the right candidate.
