About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Research Associate to contribute to the use of non-model microorganisms to valorise plastic waste.
We are seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, self-driven, and skilled Research Associate to carry out research programmes in environmental Synthetic Biology, undertake project management and/or supervise multi-disciplinary teams. You will be expected to submit publications to refereed journals and to attract external research funding.

Please note that this is a PhD level role but candidates who have not yet been officially awarded will be appointed as a Research Assistant.
This is a full-time post 35 hours per week.
This role is for a fixed-term contract for up to 2 years.
