Partnerships Officer (Recruitment and Admissions)

Contract Hours: 37 hours per week 

Job Outline:

To support the work of the Quality Office and the University as a whole and in particular the work of the Collaborative Provision Unit in respect to franchise and validation work. Responsible for all admissions processes for the Franchised provision. Duties will also include validation processes, managing the established quality systems and servicing of a committee or task group.  

• To act as the Partnership Admissions Quality Officer in supporting the Collaborative Provision Unit, and specifically franchise admissions.
• Check all applications submitted for enrolment onto a franchised programme and ensuring compliance with all university requirements, and in particular ensuring correct ID details are provide and all relevant qualifications as well as fee status.
• Check all written work (entry essays) completed and monitor for any concerns on potential submissions made fraudulently
• Support the CPU compliance visit schedule (i.e. undertaking ID checks)
• Ensure correct application of the admissions policy (including fair admissions context and application where appropriate of contextual admissions
• Reviewing recorded interviews and attending a sample of interviews undertaken at partners
• Reviewing certificates for English tests taken and confirming their appropriateness and validity

Identify any potential anomalies and escalate admissions risks internally
