Clinical Trials Quality Assurance/Monitoring Manager

About the Role
Applications are sought for an exciting opportunity within the Barts Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Unit (CVCTU) as a Clinical Trials Quality Assurance/Monitoring Manager.

The postholder will be responsible for the execution of quality assurance and monitoring processes for non-commercial clinical trials coordinated by Barts CVCTU, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and all applicable Clinical Trials Regulations.

This role will entail frequent travel and overnight stays at locations across the UK to conduct on-site monitoring visits in line with the requirements of CVCTU-hosted trials.

About You
You should possess a degree in a relevant subject or equivalent proven experience in clinical trial quality assurance/monitoring, with previous experience in on-site, remote, and central monitoring of CTIMPs within academia, the NHS, or the commercial health research sector. You should also have an excellent understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and other applicable regulations.

Practical on-the-job training will be available within this role. The successful candidate will work closely with staff across Barts CVCTU including trial coordinators, statisticians and data managers.

The Barts Cardiovascular Clinical Trial Unit (Barts CVCTU) is a clinical trials unit specialising in clinical trials related to cardiovascular and metabolic health.
