The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. We are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to provide high-quality administrative, operational, financial, and logistical support across a portfolio of UK and International research projects and programmes within the Newborn Health & Child Development team. You will be a member of the department administration team and will report to the Project Manager.
You will support financial administration, oversee small budgets, and organise travel, meetings, and events across the group. The postholder will also maintain the group's communication platforms and profiles.
You will have proven experience of managing high volume administrative activities, strong numeracy and organisational skills, excellent time management and prioritisation abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. In return, you will have the opportunity to develop your administrative and project management skills. Higher education to degree level or equivalent relevant experience is essential. The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and fixed term until 31 May 2028. The post is funded by a consortium of funders, including the NIHR and CRI Foundation, and is available immediately.
The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 4 in the range £34,741 - £38,986 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
