About the role

The department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment invites applications for the post of Lecturer (Teaching) Computing.

This is an exciting opportunity for an appropriately experienced individual to become part of the subject team for the Computing PGCE and to share the leadership of the program.

It is expected that you will engage in relevant teaching and supervision of students, for the PGCE Computing and contribute to course leadership. The post involves face to face teaching on site and working off site visiting student teachers in schools around Greater London

About you

You will have a good first degree, or equivalent experience, in an area relevant to Business Education along with a masters’ (or higher) degree in education or related field (either complete or nearing completion) and have Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.

You will also have experience of working effectively with student teachers and/or other school colleagues to support their professional development, alongside a working knowledge of ITE programmes.
