Global Mobility and Engagement Officer - Turing Scheme

Oxford Brookes University is looking for a dedicated Global Mobility and Engagement Officer to join our Global Partnerships Team. This role will play a key part in enhancing the student experience by providing priority support and guidance on exchange and study abroad programmes, particularly for Turing Scheme-sponsored students. This is a full time, fixed term role for 8 months from 1st November with a possibility of extension until 31st August 2027 as per the Turing Scheme project cycle, with potential extension for another project cycle (12 months) depending on the Erasmus / funding outcomes of the following academic years. 

What Will I Be Doing?

As a Global Mobility and Engagement Officer, you’ll support Oxford Brookes students in exchange and Turing Scheme programmes by:

• Coordinating Programmes: Manage applications, track data, and ensure smooth programme operations.
• Engaging Stakeholders: Work closely with university departments and partners to deliver seamless student experiences.
• Promoting Mobility Opportunities: Organise events, orientations, and communications to guide students and raise programme awareness.
• Ensuring Compliance: Oversee financial and crisis management protocols for outgoing students.

What Skills Do I Need? 

• Customer Service: Experience in a client-facing role with strong communication skills.
• Data and CRM Proficiency: Knowledge of CRM systems, ideally Mobility Online, and Excel.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to manage events, contracts, and meet deadlines independently.
• Attention to Detail: Experience with compliance and programme administration.

About the Location

Based at our Headington campus, you’ll experience the vibrant campus atmosphere and benefit from our modern office environment. The campus is one mile from the center of Oxford and is served by regular public transport. This role will be hybrid, and we expect there will be a requirement to be on campus 1-2 days on campus per week. However, for candidates residing outside Oxford and requiring a longer commute, more flexibility may be granted, and a suitable working pattern may be provided.
