Careers Adviser

Type of contract: Fixed term

We are seeking a short term Careers Adviser to contribute to the delivery of career education, information and guidance activities to ensure students and graduates are inspired to reach informed decisions about their future and support them to develop the necessary skills to put their career plans into action. The post-holder will primarily support students in the School of Law, and the School of Education, but may also support other students across the University as required.

The successful candidate will have good recent relevant experience in careers education and guidance work, preferably in a Higher Education context. They should be confident communicators, understanding and empathetic, and enthusiastic to work in a collaborative and innovative team.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6 £38,784 - £46,049 per annum, and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.

As this post is to cover a period of absence, it is available for 2 months.
