Position Overview
BITS Law School is seeking dedicated faculty members who will contribute to:

Successful candidates will actively participate in teaching, research, curriculum development, and student mentoring, while contributing to the growth of a vibrant academic community.
Educational Qualifications
- LL.M. from a reputed Indian or international university.
- PhD/ SJD in Law completed OR currently in progress at a recognized institution.
Key Responsibilities
Faculty members will be expected to:
- Design and deliver engaging courses using innovative pedagogical approaches such as the Socratic method, case-based teaching, and experiential learning.
- Maintain an active research agenda and publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and academic outlets.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic program design.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and professional development.
- Participate in institutional initiatives, committees, and academic governance.
Experience & Skills
- We invite applications from candidates with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: Evidence Law, Labour Law, Public International Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Legal Aid Clinics, Technology Law—including IT and Communications Governance—Family Law, Political Science—including International Relations and Political Risk—Finance, and Organizational Behavior. Candidates who are able and willing to teach across two or more of these areas will be strongly preferred.
- Prior teaching experience or significant professional experience in relevant areas (litigation, law firms, policy research, or academia) will be preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in legal scholarship and interdisciplinary engagement.
