We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant/Associate to join our team in the School of Health & Wellbeing.
You will contribute/ make a leading contribution to the Opioids in Pregnancy Study, working with Dr Louise Marryat. This novel study uses routinely-collected data from across the UK, as well as internationally, to explore the long term social, educational and health impacts of exposure to prescribed and illicit opioids in pregnancy. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
We are looking for someone with skills and experience in analysing complex longitudinal datasets, preferably with experience of working with administrative data, and with an understanding of maternal substance use and/or child development. This post involves working in partnership with people with living and lived experience of substance use. The person therefore needs to demonstrate excellent communication skills with a range of audiences.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and has funding available until 27th October 2028.
