Salary: Competitive starting salary range from £39,324 up to £44,710 (dependent on experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

The Role
As a Lecturer (teaching) in Aviation you will undertake teaching and course co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs and other core activities ensuring students have an effective learning experience.
Based within the College of Engineering, Environment & Science you will work closely with other academic colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience to ensure, as appropriate, relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses.

Qualifications Required
Our Successful Candidate
You will ideally have demonstrable experience of successful teaching at higher education levels 4-7 in Aviation or Air Transport Management, or a closely related discipline, e.g. Transport Strategy or Logistics, with high standards of teaching, learning and student engagement consistent with our reputation and track record as a high-quality provider of teaching and learning.
We would particularly welcome applications from candidates able to demonstrate expertise in aviation strategy; network planning and / or financial management.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will have experience supporting, enhancing and engaging in an ‘active learning’ pedagogy with evidence in proactively supporting student success.
