We have an exciting opportunity for a Project manager to join the team within the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing. You will provide leadership and oversight to optimise project management, to support staff development, and to contribute to research outputs, within a well-established international collaborative research team (UK and Nepal).
The successful candidate will play a leading role to ensure communications between sites and funders, and with external stakeholders are continually delivered, to ensure that the study is run effectively according to clinical, ethical, financial and legal requirements, and meets all milestones and targets.
The post holder will work closely with Principal Investigators (Professors Mike Lean in Glasgow, Scotland, and Biraj Karmacharya in Dhulikhel Hospital, Nepal) and with other members of the Trial Management Group (Work-Package leaders) including a Nepal-based Project Coordinator at Dhulikhel Hospital, to ensure reliable planning and implementation of research activities in line with study protocol, funder requirements and agreed project milestones.
Please note, this work will need to be conducted at times appropriate to colleagues in Nepal, which may on occasion be outside normal UK working hours.
