The role

We’re looking for individuals who are proactive, empathetic, and energised by helping students navigate university life — academically, personally, and professionally. You’ll be part of a supportive team committed to improving student belonging, engagement, & outcomes. We have full-time positions open on both a permanent basis and fixed-term basis (until February 2028).
The Student Success Coach plays a central role in fostering student engagement, wellbeing, & academic progression across the student lifecycle. Working closely with academic colleagues and specialist support services, the post holder will provide proactive, personalised, & data-informed support to help students thrive, overcome challenges, and successfully progress through their programme. The role combines 1:1 coaching, group support, early-intervention outreach, and ongoing case management to strengthen student belonging, attainment, & retention.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
Experience in coaching, mentoring, student support, or advisory roles is beneficial — but above all, we’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about student success.
The role requires staff to be on site during semester time as the post holders will be delivering group coaching & 1:1 appointments as well as delivering the student success module as part of the taught curriculum. Hybrid working will be available through vacation periods.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
