We have an exciting opportunity to join the University of Oxford’s Digital and Information Services Department as a Delivery Manager (Infrastructure).

As Delivery Manager (Infrastructure), you will lead the effective delivery of infrastructure initiatives, with a particular focus on the Microsoft 365 platform. You will coordinate people, resources and technology, champion agile ways of working, and help maximise the value of the University’s investment in Microsoft technologies.

About the Role

Working within Oxford’s federated IT environment, you will coordinate teams and resources to deliver products, services and continuous improvement initiatives successfully.

You will plan and organise work, translate complex requirements into manageable deliverables, and manage priorities, dependencies, capacity, risks, budgets and resources. You will maintain a clear and sustainable flow of work while adapting your approach to the team’s agile maturity and Oxford’s delivery model.

You will build trust, motivate and empower teams, champion continuous improvement, and develop strong relationships across the University to ensure services are delivered efficiently, securely and with user needs at their heart.

About You

You will be an experienced Delivery Manager, Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master with strong agile delivery experience and a successful track record of delivering technology or digital infrastructure initiatives in complex organisations.

You will have excellent planning, organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to coach teams, influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across organisational boundaries.

Experience with Microsoft technologies, Azure DevOps, IT service management or higher education would be advantageous. Above all, you will thrive on delivering meaningful change through collaboration, innovation and a user-centred approach.
