LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university
This is a fixed-term appointment until 31 July 2028
Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 per annum inclusive (pay award pending), with potential progression to £55,497 pa, inclusive of London allowance
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science universities in the world. LSE is a vibrant and cosmopolitan community in the heart of London, ser with a diverse staff and student body.
The Human Resources Division supports approximately 5,000 staff and works hard to make LSE a great place to work as well as study. Strong, well-communicated and well-implemented HR policies are a core component of a successful HR Division, and we currently have an exciting opportunity within the LSE HR Policy Team.
The HR Policy Adviser plays a key role in the implementation, development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and guidance. The postholder will support the School in responding effectively to legislative developments, organisational changes, and workforce needs. Contributing to a range of staff engagement projects and working on employee relations matters to promote positive staff experiences and effective employment practices are also core elements of the role.
To be successful in this role, candidates will have excellent written and communication skills, experience and understanding across a broad range of HR areas and the ability to interpret complex information and translate it into clear, practical guidance. An analytical, organised and proactive approach, together with strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, are a must.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working and excellent training and development opportunities.
