Financial Accountant

We are seeking an experienced, professionally qualified Financial Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance. The successful candidate will hold an ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification and have a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience in a relevant finance role.

You will support the effective financial management of the company, with responsibilities including management reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end processes, audit support and maintaining robust financial controls.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, experience of financial management systems and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience in higher education, QuickBooks or Access Financials would be desirable.
