The University of London CoSector are now recruiting for a Customer Reporting Analyst to join their Research & Analytics team.

The University is currently in the process of merging three of its service departments: University of London Computer Centre, The Careers Group and Housing Services to create a new commercial shared services organisation. The new organisation will have an initial staff of circa 200 and a combined turnover of circa £15M with a target to grow new and existing business generating at least a 10% profit on a turnover of £30M + within five years. The organisation will operate quasi independently reporting to its own Board with clear objectives based on return on investment.
As the Customer Reporting Analyst, you will be assisting with the reporting and analysis of statistical information required by CoSector University of London's Research team. You will provide an accurate and efficient service to organisations within the Higher Education sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the databases are working adequately for the needs of the department and its internal and external customers, you will develop and improve services provided by the database and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers, managing customer expectation on delivery and ensuring that accurate sector related guidance is provided to all customers.
To be considered for this position, you must have extensive data management experience, a proven track record of working in a customer focused environment and a strong familiarity in providing reporting from large amounts of data. You will have a high standard of IT literacy and strong SQL server experience with a strong knowledge of databases and spreadsheets. You will have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills and be a logical thinker with a creative problem-solving ability.
