HR Information Analyst

Do you have a good grounding in data extraction, manipulation and information presentation, along with experience in establishing effective working relationships?

As an HR Information Analyst you will work as part of a small team within Personnel Services in the centre of Oxford. The role includes the provision of comprehensive, timely and accurate staffing information and analysis supporting HR operational management and policy development. You will respond to ad hoc requests for staffing information and be responsible for compiling responses to annual surveys from external organisations. You will be responsible for monitoring the ongoing data quality improvement programme.

You will work with the Discoverer reporting tool, analysing and manipulating data in Excel. You will liaise with a variety of contacts to improve the quality of data held in the University’s HR system and plan and organise the annual data quality timetable ensuring that reporting requirements can be met by yourself and the rest of the team. You will also be involved in ad hoc data collection exercises, working closely with departmental users of the Personnel system.

You will have strong Excel skills and the ability to prioritise and deliver a high quality output to tight deadlines. Some knowledge of programming would be an advantage (SQL, R).
