This is an exciting opportunity to join the Advancement Office who is responsible for delivering Alumni Relations and Philanthropy at the University. The Alumni Relations team manage our on-going relationship with the University’s 95,000 graduates and deliver a lifelong membership programme which informs and engages our global alumni community. The Philanthropy Team develop and manage a portfolio of supporters to the University, with a focus on individuals (including alumni, staff and other stakeholders), charitable trusts and foundations and corporates, in support of scholarships, student activities and research.

The Role and Duties
The post-holder will be responsible for the CRM database, Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge, ensuring effective and compliant management of data and providing technical support for the Advancement Office. Working closely with both the Alumni Relations and Philanthropy teams, this role will provide critical data support for delivering the programme of communications, events, volunteering and fundraising activity. The post-holder will undertake data segmentation and analysis to provide reports for Advancement as well as colleagues across the University in academic departments and other professional service functions. They will also lead on a project to increase the data we hold and integration with other University systems to further develop our reporting and insight in support of strategic priorities.

Qualifications and Skills required
Applicants are expected to be educated to 'A' Level or equivalent. We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual with experience of managing a large CRM database to join our busy, friendly team. The successful candidate will be adept at dealing with large data sets and using a database to run complex queries and manage segmentation. With advanced IT and data analysis skills, the successful candidate will be able to interpret data and produce insightful reports. An experienced administrator, candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills. The post-holder will need to have a positive, enthusiastic approach and have the ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues across the University.
