The role
Bristol Medical School is looking to recruit a self-motivated, and enthusiastic Senior Student Administrator to support the Student Administration Manager (SAM), Deputy Student Administration Managers (DSAM), and Programme Directors in delivering high-quality education processes for a group of postgraduate degrees.
The post holder will have responsibility for specific areas of work which support the student admin-related processes and will supervise members of the School’s Student Administrative Team.
Excellent organisational skills are required along with a high standard of IT skills and the ability to interact with various office systems. Well-developed communication skills are essential as the post holder will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
This post is fixed term until February 2025 to cover maternity leave and a sabbatical.

What will you be doing?
Assisting the Student Administration Manager/Deputy Student Administration in delivering high-quality education processes. To take responsibility for specific areas of administration which support the student admin-related processes within these courses.
Responsibility for supervising the Student Administrators and Administration Assistant.
Management of the PGT student record and its accuracy (student status) suspensions, withdrawals, and transfers.
Receive and respond to enquiries from students and staff including more complex queries.
Manage, alongside the DSAM/SAM, the administrative processes around assignment submission and the consideration of essay extension requests for students.
