Professorship – Basic Principles of Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energies

Jade University of Applied Sciences Wilhelmshaven/Oldenburg/Elsfleth, Department of Engineering Sciences at the campus in Wilhelmshaven, invites applications for the above-mentioned position to start as soon as possible.
We are seeking a highly motivated personality (m/f) with a university degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline and experience in the fields of electrical engineering and electrical power engineering. Knowledge of energy grids and energy storage, in particular, is highly desirable.
You will teach courses in the different subject areas of the field, and we also expect you to give lectures on the basic principles of systems theory as well as other basic lectures. Your role also includes the development and management of the online study programme “renewable energies” and an active contribution to the process of technology transfer and to research activities. Strong communication skills in English as well as in German and the willingness to teach in both languages are required for this role.
