The University of London Development Office is responsible for nurturing relationships with our diverse constituencies - which include alumni, friends, former staff, prospects, donors, corporations and trusts and foundations - with a view to cultivating their support for the University, our Institutes and departments.

The Role

This role will oversee the processing of philanthropic donations and provide support for the University’s Blackbaud CRM Database (“Senator”) and its online interface BBIS. The University of London has the largest known alumni database of any University in the UK.

The post-holder will work to a high standard in the processing and recording of donations and event payments to the University. The Database and Gift Processing Officer (DGPO) will support users of Development Office systems providing training and documenting procedures. The DGPO will enhance the quality of the data held on Senator, and accurately enter data in accordance with data protection legislation.  

The post is part of the Development Office’s Operations Team, and the holder will report to the Database Manager.
