Alumni Engagement Coordinator

The Role and the Department

Van Mildert College was founded in 1965 and is home to 10,000 alumni. As we prepare to celebrate our 65^th Anniversary in 2025, Van Mildert College is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Alumni Engagement Coordinator to play a vital role alongside the Principal and other members of the College team in organising celebratory events and raising funds for the College.

The College is seeking a motivated and passionate Alumni Engagement Coordinator; the successful candidate will work with the Principal and other members of the college community to will develop and deliver both the celebrations and the accompanying major fundraising project. The role will lead on alumni engagement, event management and developing and maintaining the Van Mildert College’s alumni databases alongside the University’s Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO). They will work alongside the Principal and DARO on alumni and supporter development with the aim to increase the number of regular givers, upgrading existing donors and identifying key prospects. The post holder will need to be a visible part of the daily life of the College, both on site and at events off site for alumni and other guests.

The role will involve some evening and weekend working during key periods, as well as some national travel. This will be agreed in advance with the line manager.
