Each post will play a principal role in conducting an exercise intervention study in postpartum servicewomen, in support of the Women in Ground Close Combat Review. This research is funded by the Ministry of Defence.
Each post is available for 34 months. Although employment will be with Nottingham Trent University, the posts will be based at the study location with the Army Personnel Research Capability in Surrey/Hampshire. This will mean a requirement for some travel between the sites involved in the project.
The successful applicants will hold a) a physiotherapy qualification and ideally some form of higher degree in a related discipline or b) a PhD in Sport and Exercise Sciences or a related discipline.
