We are seeking a highly motivated academic who has the commitment and ability to make an active contribution to develop the new international “Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry” in Gozo, Malta. We have started the second academic year and we are seeking academics who have the experience, passion and vision to join the team to contribute to this exciting project.
The successful candidate will possess a PhD, or MBBS or equivalent with a demonstrable track record of outstanding teaching with a strong knowledge of topographical and clinical anatomy. Experience leading dissections would be desirable. This post is a teaching and development role and we welcome applications from candidates who can deliver high quality education and assessment in clinically relevant anatomy and basic sciences to medical students.
As part of the on-going curriculum expansion, the post-holder will contribute extensively to the delivery and development of anatomy teaching under direction of the Deputy Dean for Education. They will also collaborate extensively with academic staff at the parent medical school in London.
The post is full time and based upon a notional 35 hours per week. Salary for appointment as Lecturer will be €44,802 per annum. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave. Relocation assistance is available.
