For appointment at Lecturer level, the salary will be paid at Grade 7, £45,259-£53,355 per annum inclusive of £3,223 London Weighting Allowance per annum. For appointment at Senior Lecturer level, the salary will be paid at Grade 8, £54,853 to £63,051 per annum, inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance.

The Dickson Poon School of Law is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Private Law. The successful candidate’s teaching and research focus will be in Trusts and/or Property Law. For this post, the ability to contribute also to the teaching of Contract and/or Tort would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will become an integral part of the faculty of The Dickson Poon School of Law and will undertake leading research in their field, will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching within their specialism(s) and more broadly as appropriate. The successful candidate will also undertake public engagement activities and carry out administrative duties in the Dickson Poon School of Law. In the case of appointments at Senior Lecturer level, those duties may also include academic leadership roles.
