Based within the Nuffield Department of Population Health, The Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities aims to lead debate on the ethical requirements for scientific research and technological innovation, and is a vibrant and intellectually exciting place to work.

As a Senior Researcher, you will lead the development of a major new programme of research on ethical issues arising in the collection, storage, and sharing of digitalised medical images. You will Identify and develop research questions and methodologies, organise and delegate work to other team members and regularly write research articles for peer-reviewed publications.

You will have a relevant PhD/DPhil with significant post-research experience and possess specialist knowledge to develop research projects and methodologies. You will also have a strong publication record and the ability to manage your own academic research activities.

The post is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed-term for 3 years.
