Keele Business School are currently looking to appoint two Teaching Fellows to cover teaching of Accounting and/or Finance for a fixed term until July 2020.
Keele Business School is a dynamic and distinctive School renowned internationally for its multi-disciplinary education and research. Our mission is to provide a challenging and rewarding academic experience for students, together with high quality research and engagement with public, private and voluntary organisations. We seek to realise these aims through a unique blend of research-led and industry-engaged approaches to the study of business, basing our work on a strong culture of collegiality. The School is responsible for delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes across a broad range of business-related disciplines reflecting Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business and Marketing. The appointee will be expected to play a full part in the intellectual life of this community.
The School has been identified as a strategically important area of development within the University, with plans, over the period to 2025, for significant expansion of the School with growth occurring across a broad front, through the development of new courses and enterprise activities, optimisation of opportunities for international collaborations and a strengthening of our research portfolio. The Smart Innovation Hub, a sector leading building due for completion in summer 2019, will provide an exciting new home for the School and the opportunity for staff to work collaboratively with entrepreneurs and business owners. As part of this expansion, the School is looking to recruit two Teaching Fellows with expertise in Accounting and/or Finance for a fixed term until July 2020.
