Salary: Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale (pro-rata) at a point in line with Government Pay Policy [€34,412 to €83,102 per annum], appointment will be made no higher than point [8]:

Post Summary

The School of Social Work & Social Policy is seeking Practice Learning Coordinator & Assistant Professor in Social Work to join our Social Work team.

It is desirable that applicants have a PhD in the social sciences and essential that they are registered, or eligible to register, as a social worker with CORU, Health and Social Care Professional Regulator Ireland. Appointees will be expected to contribute to the research output and teaching programmes of the School. They will have, or show clear potential of having, relative to career stage, a track record in: research, including high impact scholarship and international publications; teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level; administrative and managerial skills. The successful candidate will be joining a vibrant and collegiate team with an established track record in social work education, social work research and cross disciplinary domestic and international research activity.
