As our portfolio of high-growth interdisciplinary research expands, we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and dedicated Interdisciplinary Research Development Officer as part of our Research Development & Support (RDS) department.

The post holder will be responsible for operationalising relevant initiatives (including funding calls, events etc.) and providing day-to-day support for internally funded initiatives to accelerate interdisciplinary strategic research growth. This pivotal role delivers seamless co-ordination across RDS, other BU professional services, the relevant academic leadership teams and External Advisory Boards to enable BU to deliver strategic interdisciplinary research growth.

This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System.  Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.  

This position is available part-time for 0.5 FTE, with specific days and working hours to be agreed.
