 About the role: You will be responsible for managing your work and coordinating with the work of the Fees and Student Finance Team providing line management support and acting as a subject matter expert for fees and student finance activities.

 You will have the ability to work closely with other departments to investigate, research and coordinate support for individual students as well as supporting our wider financial education and capability agenda.

 About you: You will be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment and able to manage large scale data processing activities to tight deadlines ensuring that both external and internal requirements are met.

 You will become an expert within your particular portfolio with a working knowledge of the institution and the higher education funding context.

 Comfortable with working in a fast-changing environment, you will support the delivery of a range student data facing activities and a number of key business activities related to tuition fee collection, the payment of funds to students and supporting the financial education agenda of the university as well as leading on key initiatives to enhance our processes and data quality.

 We are looking for someone who has experience delivering results within non-negotiable deadlines. You will be confident, taking ownership and accountability for your own workload. We require someone who is confident in upholding the Universities policy position even when meeting resistance from external teams, Academics and staff, coaching and influencing them to adhere to regulatory requirements in a positive and constructive manner, finding the best outcomes for all stake holders.

This is a permanent full-time post, working 37 hours per week.

 This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.

 The University will be implementing a hybrid way of working once restrictions from Covid 19 end therefore you will be expected to work on campus for part of your working week. Exact days will be agreed with your line manager.

 The University’s normal practice is that new appointments will be made at the starting point of the grade.
