Are you experienced in writing/curating content for external audiences with the ability to juggle competing priorities? Are you passionate about working for an organisation that makes an impact on our world?

We seek an experienced and highly motivated communications associate to join our warm, collaborative and dynamic Advancement Communications team within the University of Cambridge's Development and Alumni Relations office.

As a member of the Advancement Communications team, you will interview academics, current students and/or alumni to create the narrative arc and panel discussion questions for flagship Development and Alumni Relations events, typically hosted by the Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellors or Heads of School. With extensive experience of writing/curating, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

The Development and Alumni Relations office has an outstanding track record of engaging Cambridge's global alumni community and securing philanthropic income for the Collegiate University. It has overall responsibility for coordinating University-wide development campaigns, raising funds to support Schools, Faculties, Departments and other central University institutions. We work closely with Cambridge's 31 Colleges and our sister office, Cambridge in America, to maximise alumni engagement and fundraising with our constituencies across the globe.

Hours are flexible. We welcome applications from candidates interested in a full-time or a part-time role - please specify this in your covering statement.

This role is based in central Cambridge, however the successful candidate may need to work remotely in the first instance. This can be discussed at interview.
