Associate Lecturer Support and Professional Development (ALSPD) works collaboratively with Faculties and other Open University units to design, deliver, and manage core development for our Associate Lecturers; this includes induction, training and ongoing professional development. We are looking for a Content Designer to produce user-friendly and intuitive new online training and development resources and re-work existing content for our 300+ and growing community of new and experienced Practice Tutors. Currently this is a fixed-term 12-month role, working closely with the Apprenticeships Change Programme, which was set up to help the OU scale up to deliver apprenticeships.
Skills and experience
Are you educated to degree level or equivalent education, or work experience at a comparable level?
Do you have experience of designing and online training, guidance or customer support provision?
Do you have experience of designing and creating websites/pages and of writing, editing and organising user-centred web content?
Are you able to plan and prioritise your own workload to best meet customer and team needs?
Are you able to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels and manage their expectations?
