This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic, and highly organised Student Experience Assistant to join the Holland International Study Centre. In this job role, you will work on a variety of administrative tasks that play a key part in ensuring a world-class experience for our students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in organising transition to arrival activities and related internal/external communication.
  • Assist in organising Centre’s activities, including student induction, events, meetings and take minutes when required.
  • As part of the team, provide professional and prompt written, online and face to face support and follow-up to students in response to enquiries and requests, including the running of virtual or face to face drop-in support sessions.
  • Support the Centre administration (e.g.: invoicing, supplies, fees collection, refunds, students’ data on internal systems, meetings planning, etc.).
  • Support the centre in monitoring student attendance produce and analyse reports on a frequent basis. Assist HISC staff during assessment weeks including exam invigilation, attendance lists, filing, assist the Examination Officer etc.
  • Ensure that the centre premises are kept in good order, including reporting any maintenance issues to relevant contact points and liaising with cleaning personnel.
  • Support the Centre to deal with the extra workload determined by COVID/flexible proposition.
  • Perform other operations duties as required to ensure an excellent student journey from admissions to progression.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum HAVO/VWO diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s and Masters degree desired.
  • Fluent English, good Dutch.
  • Experience in office administration. Experience in education desired.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft software, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
