Are you interested in working for a world top 100 University? We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join the Faculty of Social Sciences Graduate School Team in delivering excellent support to doctoral students and supervisors across the Faculty.
We are looking to appoint a Postgraduate Research Support Officer to work across the School of Law and Depatment of Sociological Studies to support You will be the first point of contact for all aspects of the postgraduate research student life cycle, providing professional and knowledgeable support to PGR students and academic staff who supervise PGR research programmes. You will ensure delivery of a range of processes and procedures to support PGR student recruitment, scholarships, training and progression, and ensure that PGR student needs are accommodated and responded to.
You will also provide administrative support to the work of the Graduate School Manager. Ideally, you will have previous administrative experience in a Higher Education environment and be used to managing a complex and varied workload.
This post is availavle from 01 November 2021 and is fixed term until 31st October 2022, 28 hrs per week with the working pattern to be agreed.
