This is a full time, fixed-term contract until 31st December 2023. 36.5 hours per week.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to the post of Student Funding Assistant (Scholarship Support) based in Wellbeing Support Services. You will work with departments across the University to collate, process and pay the new Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarships and other departmental undergraduate scholarships. In addition to this, you will offer money advice to students using your extensive and up-to-date knowledge of statutory student support and the benefits system. Where appropriate you will signpost them to other internal and external sources of financial and welfare support.
You will have a good standard of general education and previous experience of working with students. You will also have previous experience of using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook. Excellent face to face, telephone and written communication skills are essential for this role. You will be able to work independently or as part of a wider team and have excellent organisational skills.
