Location: University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham UK
Joining a vibrant, large and varied HR function, you will work as part of a team which provides an HR Advisory service across the University, focusing on supporting managers and employees on areas such as HR related case work, performance improvement and organisational change – in particular with a focus on clinical HR matters also working in collaboration with our NHS partners.
You will be involved in a wide variety of cases which will require you to quickly understand the nature of the different business areas of the University. You will need to be confident in your understanding of employment law and advising on the implications of decisions.
You will need to be able to effectively juggle several areas of work at the same time, supporting managers with business-focused, timely and effective solutions. You will take a lead on improving the HR operational understanding and delivery of a comprehensive service to Medicine, Dentistry and Allied Health Professional areas.
