Applications are invited for the post of Cyber Security & Information Risk Analyst in the IT Services Department.
The Cyber Security & Information Risk Analyst will lead the development of cyber security guidelines, policy and due diligence. They will provide authoritative advice, guidance and assessment on the requirements for internal and third-party security controls.
Royal Holloway University has exciting digital aspirations as well as a complex and diverse IT offering. The role of Cyber Security & Information Risk Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the correct security posture for the College. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work closely with the IT Services Senior Management team and the wider college leadership to ensure the Cyber Security offering is in line with the Business goals.
You will have experience of evaluating applications and services to determine their cyber security posture and you will have developed and implemented related risk frameworks. You will have utilised vulnerability scanning technologies and the outputs of third-party evaluations (e.g. penetration tests) to make appropriate recommendations on risk profiles and mitigations. We will also expect a creative approach in how to engage with the users and increase awareness and positive security behaviours.
