We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Electrician to join the Maintenance Services team, within Estates, offering a reactive service and maintaining all electrical, fire & emergency lighting systems, heating & ventilation services and ancillary plant in University owned properties across all our campuses and sites. You will need the confidence and ability to install, maintain, fault find and repair electrical equipment.
Carry out routine inspections and the maintenance of the University's low voltage network and associated equipment. Our team operate a 36 hour working week and the successful candidates will also have the opportunity to join our on-call rota offering a 24/7 service to the University. The call out duty attracts a generous stand by allowance and overtime payments for all call outs.
