We currently have a vacancy for a Lecturer in Management within the Department of Management and HRM, located within Glasgow School for Business and Society. The Department delivers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the area of international business, business management, HRM, operations and supply chain management, and social innovation.

The applicant should have the expertise and flexibility to participate in delivering a range of modules across the general operations and supply chain management area as well as an interest in some of the following areas: lean six sigma, procurement, logistics and/or project management. An interest in teaching research methods will also be welcomed. Experience of teaching, assessment and student supervision within a blended-learning environment is desirable.

Applicants should either be qualified to doctoral level in a relevant business management discipline, or hold a relevant Masters qualification and be nearing completion of their doctorate (e.g., within 3 months of submission). In addition, applicants should be able to demonstrate a commitment to the publication of research in their chosen field.

Applicants are expected to have excellent written and spoken communication skills and should also be able to demonstrate both a student-centred approach and an ability to work in a collaborative manner with colleagues.  Successful applicants will be expected to undertake a teaching qualification if not already qualified.
