The salary quoted will be pro-rata at 0.5 FTE for this part time post £17,792 - £19,198 per annum including London Weighting
In partnership with the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation, a very exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly graduated musical director to join us in their next step into professional practice.
This role offers the opportunity for a recent graduate to further develop their skills and experience towards a career as a Musical Director. We offer an intensive developmental experience within a specialised Musical Theatre training environment, working alongside our professional staff and highly motivated students. Our staff will manage and mentor the Associate during the period of engagement.
The Associate Musical Director will enhance our Musical Theatre provision, working mostly with students on the undergraduate BA Acting (Musical Theatre) course, demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm in developing projects and opportunities to support and showcase students’ work. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to and embrace a specialist experience of teaching, performing, the development of professional practice and networking within a training environment.

The Associate Musical Director will be awarded by Central following an application and interview process. There will be one available Fellowship for the year 2022/23.
