About the Role
Housing Services let, manage and collect rent for over 2,600 beds in Queen Mary’s own Halls of Residence. They also allocate and coordinate the letting of over 500 beds with our partner providers. This area of the business is set to expand to support the Queen Mary 2030 Strategy.

The post holder will need to provide effective line management of the Housing Services and Residences Finance team, prioritising workloads to meet agreed Queen Mary strategic targets.
The post holder will be dedicated to promote and maximise the lettings potential, mitigating the financial risk in relation to all owned, nominated and leased bed stock, worth circa £22.5M per annum.
The role will also be responsible for the key IT systems that support the Housing Services (and broader operational teams).
The post holder will be required to support and deputise for the Head of Housing Services in managing and delivering a customer focused service providing advice and guidance encompassing the broad range of housing options available to students and staff.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full time, permanent appointment, with an expected start date of 1 December 2022. The starting salary will be, in the range of £39,815 - £46,843 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
