Location: College Lane Campus

We are looking for a talented and pro-active person who can contribute to the work of our International Office. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and oversee the administrative services within the International Office, supporting recruitment and admissions activity. The International Services Manager will act as a link between admissions, conversion, and recruitment; developing strategies and policies in line with sector best practice; driving continuous improvement in processes and making a significant contribution to enhancing the enquirer and applicant experience.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

You will focus on continuous improvement, ensure sector-leading service levels are established and adhered to with regards to processing applications and offers and assist with the performance management of staff, ensuring achievement of service KPIs and planned student numbers. You will oversee the transition from existing application systems to the University’s new CRM, ensuring all processes are re-developed and documented and take a lead role in reviews and projects initiated to improve the University’s international admissions processes and procedures and the service provided to applicants and schools of study.

You will be expected to manage a range of the administrative processes associated with international admissions including agent commission and contracts. You will work with the Student Immigration Team and the Compliance Officer to ensure optimum compliance with the prevailing Home Office requirements.

Additionally, you will provide consistent support to colleagues both internal and external by facilitating the dialogue between overseas agents, partners, in-country representatives, and relevant bodies and work with other colleagues and teams within the Marketing and Communications Department developing collegiality and improved cross team working.

Skills & Experience Required

You will have relevant international administrative experience and experience of process improvement and change management and managing the delivery of excellent customer service. You must have the ability to form and maintain effective and productive professional relationships. You will have the ability to work effectively as a team member and have proven planning and scheduling skills.

In addition to this you will have excellent written and oral communications skills, be an expert in using excel and have a proactive solution-focused approach to work and have a commercially focused attitude towards international higher education.

Qualifications Required

You must hold a minimum of a degree, or equivalent qualification, or have substantial relevant work experience.
