An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Global Partnerships Unit based within the University’s International Directorate. Faculty / Directorate
The International Directorate is an energentic and dynamic part of the university, which leads on two distinct functions: TransNational Education (TNE) delivered by the Global Partnerships Unit (GPU) and international student recruitment, led by the International Office.
Internationalisation is a key component of DMU’s growth plans and the University has in place an ambitious strategy to support the next phase of our development on TransNational Education (TNE) Partnerships. Role
Reporting to the Collaborative Partnerships Manager, the Global Partnerships Officer will have a key role in supporting the management and operation of the University’s TransNational Education (TNE) partnerships in accordance with the University’s TNE Strategic Plan.
The post holder will work closely with international leads and professional services staff with a focus on managing a portfolio of existing academic partnerships and building the necessary relationships to maximize their potential. As part of the wider role you will provide professional advice, guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders on a range of operational and quality issues which affect the University’s collaborative provision.
Ideal Candidate
Educated to degree level, this role would suit a highy motivated self-starter with an understanding of the principles of partnership working. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate in a variety of ways to a range of audiences. You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels in an often pressured, high profile and commercial environment. You will be required to undertake some overseas travel.
