The Birmingham Institute of Creative Arts is a vibrant and diverse learning community at the heart of Birmingham City University’s Faculty of Art, Design & Media where we currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time Lecturer in BA Digital Marketing and MA Future Media. We’re looking for industry professionals with teaching experience and creative and strategic communications credentials in marketing communications to join our dynamic team in the School of Visual Communication.
You will be a key player in a busy teaching team that currently holds the highest rating for student teaching satisfaction in the institute. You’ll be teaching undergraduates and postgraduates in alignment to curricula, your colleagues teaching practice, peer review and the students’ needs. We want you to teach your specialism and enrich that further with new knowledge and research to keep abreast of emerging trends, disruptions and opportunities in the digital marketing and communications arena. You will lead on your modules, slotting into a rich mix that is practice-led, theory-applied and employability driven.
Your responsibilities begin with the University’s ‘I AM BCU VALUES’ amongst colleagues and in response to students’ needs.
