This is an exciting opportunity to join our College of Business and Law in a senior leadership role. This role is an integral part of the College Executive Team, reporting to the PVC & Head of College.
Undertaking a strategic role in the development and realisation of the research strategy for the University, the role holder will provide institutional and College leadership to achieve research excellence, maximise impact and income as well as driving innovation and enterprise partnerships and collaborations nationally and internationally. You will lead College and cross-university initiatives that make a significant contribution to the achievement of the University’s key strategic and performance objectives.
As a member of the College Executive Team, you will have responsibility for the development and delivery of the College research and enterprise plan. You will monitor its effectiveness to maximise research performance and develop an ambitious and inclusive research culture which is aligned to the University’s research ambitions and values.
You will lead and support the development of existing and new strategic research partnerships, working collaboratively across Colleges to capitalise on interdisciplinary opportunities. You will also represent the University at key external networks, developing, promoting and showcasing the profile and reputation of the College and the University at local, regional, national and international levels.
