About the Role
The Youth Resilience Research Unit (YRU) invites applications for a Research Manager who will support the development of the Unit’s strategic research plans. As part of this role, the successful candidate will support the co-directors of the YRU in research income generation, grant management and research reporting requirements, as well as providing administrative support to other funded research projects and budgets in the Unit. Finally, the post holder will maintain a high level of professional knowledge and skill, including the acquisition of knowledge of University processes and regulations with special reference to research and data management, and provide advice and guidance in publicising the activities and findings of the research group.
About You
Applicants should have a postgraduate research degree (PhD or equivalent) and managerial experience, ideally in higher education. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent organisational and negotiation and have clear examples of strategic thinking.

The post is based at the Newham Centre for Mental Health in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 12 months in the first instance, with an expected start date of March 2023. The salary will be Grade 4, £36,348 per annum, and inclusive of London Allowance.
