Job Details
A proactive quality professional, who is highly motivated and able to work well in a fast-paced environment is required to meet the rapidly expanding portfolio of collaborative provision at St Mary’s University. You will be able to work flexibly to ensure that strategic opportunities are progressed rapidly to partnership approval stage, whilst ensuring that you work within the policies and procedures of the University. You will bring a strong understanding of collaborative partnerships, an excellent understanding of the UK Quality Code and broad knowledge of good practice in collaborative partnership development. The role will entail providing expert advice and preparing formal reports. This will also include providing advice to the executive /senior managers of the University and partner institutions on quality issues, coordinating the annual quality monitoring and review process, programme approvals, and ensuring that accurate records are created and maintained. The post may require travel within the UK and overseas.
You will be a skilled team player, and able to organise and coordinate input from across the University to ensure a high standard of service is provided for collaborative partners, their representatives, and colleagues and services throughout the University. You will be able to work well under pressure, using your initiative to independently problem-solve and facilitate the progression of strategically important partnerships. You will work alongside Quality and Standards Managers with responsibility for on-site provision and will liaise closely with them in all aspects of your work.
