Philanthropy & Global Engagement
Alumni Engagement Regional and Thematic Lead x2
Salary from £38,313 to £46,148 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £49,614 pa inclusive of London allowance
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning and research in the world. Founded in 1895, it counts 18 Nobel prize winners among its alumni and staff. We have a dynamic and high-profile Director, Baroness Minouche Shafik, and a bold new strategy for the School, LSE 2030.
In November 2021, we launched the public phase of Shaping the World, our £350 million philanthropy and 100,000 volunteering hours engagement Campaign that will help realise LSE 2030 ambitions. More than 50% of our Campaign goal has been raised and there is huge momentum building as we advance the public phase. There couldn’t be a better moment to join us.
This exciting role will contribute to the delivery of our 100,000-hour volunteer and advocacy target which is of particular importance in increasing alumni engagement throughout and beyond our Campaign, as we seek to develop reciprocal relationships with our global alumni community. The Alumni Engagement Regional and Thematic Leads will act as key relationship managers and will develop specialisms in two priority regions and two Campaign priorities topics to further our engagement opportunities in these areas.
Candidates should have experience in understanding stakeholder needs and motivations, excellent digital literacy to engage a global community, experience with working with an international audience and a diplomatic and collaborative approach.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
