About the role
Student Wellbeing Services are recruiting a 0.6 FTE mental health practitioner to join our professional and dynamic service. You will work with students both one to one and in group settings, providing a range of short term interventions. Working closely with the Mental Health Service Managers and other Mental Health Advisors, you will assist with triage and assessment for current students and applicants, risk assessment and management, crisis intervention, the delivery of staff briefings, consultation and training. The role requires a mix of on campus working and home working.
About you (requirements)
You will be an experienced mental health practitioner with current professional and/or clinical registration and be used to working within a multidisciplinary team. Ideally you will have experience of working within a brief therapy context. You will be adept at managing a complex caseload and be highly organised and motivated. You are someone who is comfortable both working autonomously and as part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team, with strong assessment and communication skills.
